The number of live stage productions grows every year with a variety to entertain everyone.

Black Bear Jamboree Dinner & Show presents a music-filled dinner production built around a fictional gathering of bears in the Smoky Mountains. An in-house culinary staff, headed by new executive chef J. Michael Miller, serves a country feast that includes roasted chicken and hickory smoked baby back ribs. Classic Country Theater returns for its third season in Pigeon Forge. This hilltop theater actually presents three stage productions. Two shows feature songs that are the backbone of the country music industry, including hits made famous by Hank Williams and Patsy Cline. The Comedy Barn is a perennial favorite with Pigeon Forge visitors. There’s never a dull moment in the musical/comedy production where the performers include fire-eating jugglers, a troupe of highly trained canines and even a few willing participants from the audience. Go to their Web site.

The award-winning show at Country Tonite Theatre is filled with variety. This year’s production features new music to reflects today’s country hits, new comedy skits, and a number of new performers including recording artist Mila Mason. Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede continues to be a perennial favorite with Pigeon Forge visitors. Previous Dixie Stampede visitors know about the horses and the racing ostriches and pigs, but this year’s production also includes the exciting Stampede of the Buffalo. The Louise Mandrell Theater is always the site for top-notch entertainment, and this year’s show features even more music, sparkling costumes and colorful sets. The vocal group, Triumphant Quartet, returns after an impressive debut season in 2003, bringing their gospel harmonies to the stage weekday mornings and Sunday evenings. The Great China Acrobats come from Suining SiChuan Province of China. The performers will bring to Pigeon Forge a thrilling presentation  of classic Chinese physical art showcase in dramatic lighting and high energy dance and spectacular costumes. Memories Theatre presents the Ultimate Legends Show, featuring a special “Salute to Elvis.” Bill Stiles, who joined the cast late last season, returns this year with his impressive impersonation of the King of Rock and Roll. The show’s amazing impersonators portray other legendary artists including Kenny Rogers, The Blues Brothers, and Patsy Cline. Willie Nelson and other artists will be added to the tribute this season. Ole Smoky Hoedown features host Billy Baker and a talented cast of musicians. Baker, a member of the International Clown Hall of Fame, brings years of comedic experience to this entertaining stage show.
